Animal nutritionist

Dietetics is a science that includes elements of medical science, food technology, psychology, biochemistry, microbiology, pharmacology, and life sciences. The “Animal Nutritionist” course has been designed with companion animals and their strictly defined nutritional and health needs in mind. It focuses on determining the principles of nutrition of dogs and cats, primarily healthy but also sick, assessment of the nutritional status and prevention of diet-related diseases. During the course, participants will learn how to set food doses and create nutritional plans. In addition, participants will be trained in the correct reading and analysis of the composition of ready-made commercial pet foods. As in any other Ethoplanet course, aspects of animal behaviour, the effects of diet on behaviour, and diet manipulation in behavioural therapies will also be covered.

The course is based on a theory supported by scientific research.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the course has been moved to an online form
